Hi, I’m Jonathan – founder of Letter Box Hamper. We make small hampers of luxury British food and drink, beautifully wrapped and sent through the post with Letter Box delivery.

I created Letter Box Hamper to help celebrate and share our great local produce. All of our hampers are made using the finest quality food and drink our nation has to offer. On any given day, you can find me travelling the length and breadth of our nation, sampling and tasting the best regional produce and getting to know the incredible personalities who make them. You won’t find our produce in any old supermarket and you can be assured that it has been carefully selected to make each gift we send unique and proudly independent.

From our base in the South West of the UK, it’s clear that food and drink runs through our West Country veins. For years, it has been a huge part of our culture, from 1900 when Plymouth Gin was shipping 1000 cases a week to New York, to present day when we still enjoy nothing more than a cream tea with Strawberry jam made from local British strawberries. When out on the road across the UK, I’m always amazed to discover so much world-class food and drink, all lovingly crafted by enthusiastic and dedicated local producers.

Of course, it’s as much about the giving as the food and drink itself. We all know the pleasure of receiving an unexpected present through the post. We also know how difficult it can be to find a thoughtful and unique gift for special occasions. And whilst we love traditional hampers, often they are too cumbersome, over priced and burdensome to deliver.

So we're here to help re-launch hampers as the perfect little, personalised and postable presents, beautifully hand wrapped and delivered as a surprise through the Letter Box, with free next day delivery. We've enjoyed selecting and tasting every product and putting each hamper together, we hope that your friends and family will love them too.
